Fulong Changtai Bamboo Creek Valley is a masterplan project integrating culture, creativity and sustainability into a vibrant community ecosystem. Situated in the heart of the Xiamen-Zhangzhou-Quanzhou metropolitan area and adjacent to Tianzhu Mountain National Forest Park, it draws on rich local heritage and natural landscape to offer a unique living experience.

The project includes a commercial and leisure district with hotels, guesthouses, wellness centres and outdoor recreational facilities. The design fully utilises the mountainous terrain, thoughtfully adapting to the natural topography. The mountain villas, inspired by the traditional Minnan style with red bricks, white walls and lush greenery, feature double-level entrances and double courtyards for privacy and panoramic views.

More than just a residential project, Fulong Changtai Bamboo Creek Valley is a self-sustaining community combining residential, commercial and recreational spaces. It prioritises sustainable practices and cultural tourism, creating spaces that boost creativity, economic growth and a sense of belonging among residents. The vision stresses blending traditional cultural elements with modern creative industries to form a dynamic, sustainable environment.

The commercial and leisure district merges aesthetics, daily life and natural beauty, providing a unique and enjoyable experience for residents and visitors. Focusing on craftsmanship and using environmentally friendly materials like brickwork and Corten steel, the architecture integrates landscape elements, greenery and signage. This approach fosters a harmonious link between the built environment and nature, enhancing the space’s identity and continuity.

Ultimately, Fulong Changtai Bamboo Creek Valley aims to create a place where people can thrive, with culture, creativity and the natural environment enriching daily life. It’s a model of sustainable rural development, connecting deeply with the past and future. This project celebrates community, heritage and innovation, cultivating a rich, evolving sense of place for generations.
