Another Angle Podcast is now live!

Episode One - "A Conscious Evolution: The Idea of Web3 and the Awareness of Its Potential as an Ongoing Disruptor"

In this episode, our host Wendy Tsai, a Registered Architect with multidisciplinary expertise and an interest in the social impacts that macro swings in trends have on community building and design needs, takes a deeper dive with Joyce Li on how Web3 is not only a technological advancement, but also a social disruptor that challenges and help shape the way we think and live. Having graduated with honours in Architecture at Cornell University and Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, Wendy has international experience in retail and hospitality, residential, master planning, interior and FF&E design from New York to Shanghai with Leslie Gills, Rafael de Cárdenas and Neri&Hu prior to joining The Oval Partnership in Hong Kong.

Joyce is an independent consultant working in the realms of arts and culture, technology and social impact. Promoting arts and culture since 2010, Joyce has experience in a number of cultural productions and digital art projects, and has contributed in the development of institutional partnerships with an aim to foster social impact and knowledge production. Some of the major institutions and research centres she has worked with includes M+, Design Society, Royal College of Arts, Serpentine Galleries, MIT Media Lab, Google X, and Guggenheim Museum. Joyce has an MA in Arts and Cultural Enterprise at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London and was a consultant for Asia Society Hong Kong, Digital Art Fair and other curatorial works before current role as Director of Arts and Culture at Artifact Labs.

Another Angle is a topical podcast series that probes today’s hot topics and secular trends with insights from industry guests. Inspired by the Oval Partnership’s internal Trend Talk sharing sessions, conversations of this podcast approach trending topics through another angle, with implications not often discussed. In raising awareness and questioning what we observe, we hope to empower listeners to collectively imagine a better future together.
