OVAL欧华尔已完成了北京三里屯Village项目。北京三里屯Village南区实现了欧华尔的「开放城市」理念,它包括两个要素,「开放城区」和「开放建筑」。

项目的两个地块位于北京朝阳区三里屯路三里屯酒吧街,总共约5万多平方米。三里屯区在北京的第二使馆区里,允许的容积率为1.6,高度限制为18米。北面地块靠近使馆区,相对安静。南面地块靠近新旧酒吧街。这一区域要转型为娱乐、零售、文化的综合性都市区,而北京三里屯Village是迈向这一转型的第一阶段。

我们的南区总平面设计包括十六栋低层建筑,被通道、小径、庭院环绕,形成城市广场,它的公共空间24小时开放,使之成为可渗透的城市区域。它的「开放建筑」设计方式使众多不同类型的用户很好地共存, 建筑可以适应时间的变化而调整。欧华尔的建筑设计概念设想到,应由多个建筑师合作来设计建筑 - 欧华尔设计建筑的基本框架,而后吸收众多设计师、建筑师和经营商户的设计。欧华尔向许多国际知名的建筑师发出邀请,包括Peter Cook、Erick van Egeraat和Philip Starck。建筑立面包含了众多设计名师的作品。LOT-EK、Kengo Kuma、Apple Computer、Addidas和其它许多设计公司都参与了立面和室内设计。当新的餐馆、商铺、档口和活动设施搬进来并开始各自的装修工程时,建筑立面将随之改变和更新。这样的建筑方式具有很强的多样性、包容性和适应性。

欧华尔是三里屯Village项目的总平面规划师、城市设计师、方案设计建筑师和项目总建筑师。太古地产是发展商。作为总协调者和总建筑师,欧华尔将继续发展这一项目。欧华尔已让南区为迎接北京2008奥运开放,而北区应在2010年开放。

The Oval Partnership has delivered Sanlitun Village in Beijing. Sanlitun Village is the realization of Oval Partnership's Open City concept. The Open City concept consists of two components, Open Urban Quarters and Open Architecture.

The two sites of the project were on the Sanlitun bar street, with a combined area of approximately five hectares. The Sanlitun area was within the second Embassy District in Beijing. The permitted plot ratio was 1.6 and there was a height restriction of 18 meters. The north part of the site is adjacent to the relatively peaceful, quiet embassy area, the south part of the site is adjacent to the bar street. It is the first phase of the transformation of the embassy district into a mixed-use leisure, retail, and cultural urban quarters.

The master plan design envisaged by the Oval Partnership comprises of sixteen buildings, with alleys, lane, courtyards and squares. Its public spaces are 24-hours open, which makes it permeable urban quarter. The buildings are designed as open architecture to adapt and change with the times. The architectural concept devised by Oval envisaged many architects to collaborate in the design of the buildings. The Oval Partnership designed the architectural framework and invited many architects to design the outlook of the buildings. The Oval Partnership sent out invitations to many international architects including Peter Cook, Erick van Egeraat, and Philip Starck. Designers including LOT-EK, Kengo Kuma, Apple Computer, Addidas and many others contributed to the elevation and interior design. The elevations will continue to grow and change as new restaurants and shops and markets stalls and event holders move in and erect their own installations. The above approach builds up strong diversity, inclusivity and adaptivity.

The Oval Partnership acts as masterplanner, urbanist, concept architect and principal architect for the project. The developer is Swire Properties. The Oval Partnership continues to act as coordinator and principal architect to deliver the project. Village South was opened for the Beijing 2008 Olympic. Village North will be opened 2010.
